REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Work from HomeIt takes the average worker in the United States 26 minutes to travel to work. One way to fix long commutes would be to make cities more affordable. An even simpler option: promote the use of telework. Are you in an industry that would allow you to work from home? What are some obstacles you might find yourself facing while working from home?
Matt Edlen 10/18/2018 4:21 PMNo, I’m not. In fact I have to fly 6000 mi per week to get to work. That said, once here I can be more conscious of public transportation, walking and ride shares -
Matt Edlen 10/18/2018 4:19 PMCRAZY day! I could not have run harder. Thankful for collaboration. My parents. And good ideas. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Support Pollution ReductionWhat environmental factors affect human health in your region, and how do they affect it?
Matt Edlen 10/18/2018 4:19 PMIn Oregon we have a great quality of life - access to clean water, clean air, outdoor activities, etc. our culture is supportive of a healthy lifestyle. seeing a place where culture are emblematic of good, conciensious decisions is important. I believe we have power to impact other regional and national municipalities to encourage the same goals.
