REFLECTION QUESTIONWasteWhat do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reuseable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to establish this a successful habit?
Katie Eisenbrown 10/17/2018 12:08 PMI often run in to the store for a few things and end up stacking my arms high with stuff. I then carry it out in my arms usually. In order to avoid this, I should always plan that I am going to get more then I went in for and bring my bags in. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWasteWhat one thing could you do right away to reduce your waste?
Katie Eisenbrown 10/17/2018 12:05 PMAfter carrying my trash for several days it becomes obvious that bringing lunch from home instead of eating out is a lot less wasteful. However, many businesses in boulder provide compostable containers that can be composted in our office, so that is a bonus. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicityHow can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?
Katie Eisenbrown 10/17/2018 12:03 PMI gave away clothes tha no longer fit my 9 month old baby to a friend with a baby on the way. Given he is a growing baby we will always accumulate outgrown clothes, but giving them to someone I know can use them will help from having them stack up in our house. And it felt good too!
