REFLECTION QUESTIONNatureFather Thomas Berry says, "...our primary purpose is celebration. Celebration of the dawn and the sunset and the different seasons of the year is a religious ritual, a way in which humans can establish their integral relationship with the universe, with the planet Earth." Respond to Berry's assertion.
Anna Ellis 10/19/2018 12:41 PMI agree with what Father Thomas Berry because once in a while, we need to enjoy the sunset and sunrise to just feel in peace and relaxed. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWasteWhat do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reuseable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to establish this a successful habit?
Anna Ellis 10/18/2018 12:30 PMIf I found myself in needing a bag for items and don't have a reuseable bag with me, I'd just put all the groceries in the cart and just grab my reuseable bag in the car and put the groceries inside. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergyHow is electricity generated where you live? How does it impact the environment, animals, and humans?
Anna Ellis 10/18/2018 12:21 PMIt impacts the environment, animals, and humans by decreasing global warming since we used a lot of fossil fuel for electricity.-
Lora Jones 10/20/2018 8:50 PMTrue...In California about 50% of our electricity is generated from natural gas, which is a fossil fuel and creates pollution.
