    This turned out to be more of a technological challenge than I had imagined. October 5th-October 22nd I spent a tremendous amount of time traveling by train. I'd never have guessed there wouldn't be WiFi internet or cell reception. The good news is I enjoyed hours of screen free time at the expense of being able to log in all my activity. This was a great reminder to focus on simplicity and economy both materially as well as in my physical and mental activity.

    Sequoia National Forest with its gigantic trees and amazing vistas provided a great setting for my daily meditation as well as exercise.

    Hopping back on a train today to head east across the country. Cell reception is spotty and there is no wireless, so I may not be able to keep my log up to date.

    Cross country train trip has made keeping up with logging in a challenge, but I have met my goals each day, even though I haven't been able to get all the entries logged.
