When I went to target today I didn't use any bags, instead I loaded them into my car. I also didn't take a bag when I volunteered at the garden, which is where I got my local food.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Use Reusable Bags
What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reuseable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to establish this a successful habit?

If I'm not buying a lot of stuff I would just carry it out to my car. If I buy too many items to hold, I will put them in a cart and take that out to my car. I will not accept a disposable bag.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Buy From a Farmers Market
What is one food choice that you make, or could make, that would do more good and less harm?

I could eat less meat and buy fruits and vegetables from local sources instead of supporting large industries.
