REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthWhat do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How can we start shifting from a meat-focused food culture to a more plant-based one?
Alexis Fojo 10/03/2018 8:00 AMI think we eat more meat because we make it more readily available and it has a status symbol- Steak is fancy and expensive and so people think it helps them look important.
I think we have a different set of values when it comes to "using the whole animal" and "respecting where our food comes from"
I think creating "fake meat" is not the answer, plus those are filled with chemicals and GMO's- it would be better for us to show alternative options to food- bean or nut based things, etc. -

Alexis Fojo 10/03/2018 7:55 AMVegetable bags I would say is a factor- also individually wrapped things and plastic utensils.
Substitute with reusable utensils and reusable veggie bags or clothe -
