Bailey's actions
Waste
Use a Reusable Water Bottle
I will keep 5 disposable plastic bottle(s) from entering the waste stream by using a reusable water bottle.
Transportation
Try Carpooling
I will commute by carpool 20 mile(s) each day and avoid sending up to 11.29 lbs of CO2 into Earth's atmosphere.
Waste
Use Reusable Bags
I will not accept any disposable bags when making purchases.
Waste
Skip the Straw
Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 3 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.
Waste
Advocate For More Food Packaging Options
I will advocate for alternatives to single-use packaging at local grocery stores, markets, at work, or on campus.
Waste
Use a Reusable Mug
I will avoid sending 6 disposable cup(s) to the landfill each day by using a reusable mug.

Bailey Gettle 10/23/2018 9:20 PMSTRAWS are SO hard to avoid. I never realized how much I use straws until I realized that every drink I get when I am out (which is often) has a straw. SO, I started using my reusable mugs and asking places I go to fill my mug instead.
