    With the recent report from the UN IPCC, I contacted my Senators and House Representative. I expressed concern about the impacts of climate change on future generations and urged them to continue supporting policy that will result in emission reduction.

    Went to the St Paul Farmer's Market on Saturday and brought a sizable haul of food back to the apartment. Favorites included homemade BBQ sauce and the chicken breasts to go with it! Along with some A+ honeycrisp apples!

    I found an interesting graph detailing the carbon footprint of different foods: http://css.umich.edu/factsheets/carbon-footprint-factsheet 

    The footprint of an average serving of beef is almost 6x more carbon intensive than poultry!
