I started using Grounds to Grow On in Pathology a year and a half ago, and so far we have kept more than 10,000 K-cups out of the landfill in just the Anatomic Pathology section. Grounds to Grow On is a program through Keurig Green Mountain where businesses can send back used K-cups which are separated and used for energy, compost, and more. All we pay for is the shipping. Our coffee users chip in and we're all alot happier with the usage of K-cups than when they were hitting the dump.

Practicing gratitude reminds me that it is never "all bad" and that no matter what is going on, there is always something and someone to be grateful for. Putting gratitude out into the world encourages others to see and share the same as well.
