That's a lot of money. I would rather use my share to donate to organizations such as "feed my starving children" who supplies food to children in need around the world.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Weekly Meal PlanningAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?
Phanindra babu Guthi 10/23/2018 8:45 AMIndeed it surprises me. That's a lot of money. Even if we end up reducing half the waste, that's $750 per family which turns out to be almost $3750 millions, if there are 5 million of such families.
That's a lot of money. I would rather use my share to donate to organizations such as "feed my starving children" who supplies food to children in need around the world.
