Love skipping the straw! I took the ferry from New London CT. to Orient Point Long Island and thanked the snack bar for their "skip the straw" poster. Unfortunately the attendant told me he had far more people complain. So let's make it a point to thank organizations that skip the straw.

The best part of the eco challenge are teammates. It is so great to know there are lots of other people who are working towards a healthier planet!

Biking and walking are a great way to get around, meet new people and understand places. However, it requires more planning and prep. In addition, traveling by bike requires careful selection of travel clothes!

I really like walking over the bridge to the bus stop! Today I "drop" my car and get some extra exercise!
