    I went for a nice walk instead of turning on the television in the evening.

    How do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?

    Walking allows time to observe and appreciate your surroundings.  Walking during lunch break in the City I have discovered lots of interesting little businesses that i never noticed when driving.  Walking in my neighborhood allows me time to appreciate nature.
