How do you deal with the physical and emotional stress of the big problems we face? How can you help others cope?

I deal with physical stress by relaxing, scheduling time for physical relaxation such as a licensed massage appointment or time in the hot tub.

I deal with emotional stress by talking about it, not bottling it up, and releasing any emotional tension. Going for walks and exercising are another way to take a step back and open up the perspective again too and not drone on too much about something that bothers me.

I feel that by encouraging others to do these things is a good way to help others cope. I know that I went on a bicycle ride and invited a colleague to come with me and that helped them out greatly!

Exercising with others is a wonderful way to get it done. It helps you become more accountable and not skip out.

Consider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?

I would like to get to sleep much earlier then I usually do. I think doing it by baby steps is the right way, 10 minutes more each day. If I set an alarm for when to go to sleep as well as when to wake up, that will help me get to sleep on time so that I can get the adequate amount of sleep I need!
