    We explored Boulder Field in the Poconos and enjoyed an afternoon in the forest as a family.

    It’s going well.  I had to purchase some donuts at the grocery store, and I took my own tray, put the donuts on it, and paid for them, rather than have the plastic container.  The cashier looked at me oddly, but I didn’t care. 1 less piece of plastic in our world.

    Yesterday I tried a new vegan recipe for very chocolate, chocolate chip cookies, and they were fabulous.  Made unsweetened cocoa and vegan chocolate chips.  I've also gone one week strictly vegetarian.

    When David and I lived in Germany in '94, we discovered Aldi.  Since then, I have been  shopping at Aldi for some food items because they are conscious of packaging.  We continue to shop there and at other resources in order to eliminate our waste.

    I shop for many items at Aldi and when I'm on the road to avoid packaging.
