Angela 's actions
Energy
Switch to Cold Water
I will switch to washing my clothes in cold water, saving up to 1,600 lbs of C02 over the course of the next year.
Waste
Skip the Straw
Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 1 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.
Food
Meet My Local Farmers
I will visit my nearest farm to find out who produces my food, and will learn about the quality of life of those who produce my food in other regions of the world to make better choices when I shop.
Waste
Compost Food Waste
I will avoid sending up to .69 lbs (.31 kg) of food waste to the landfill each day by composting my food or learning how to.
Food
Reduce Animal Products
I will enjoy 2 meatless meal(s) and/or 1 vegan meal(s) each day this week.

Angela Ireton 10/10/2018 10:05 AMDid bulk cooking this week, and have been loving the ease of leftovers, and being able to bring lunch to work. -
Angela Ireton 10/06/2018 10:43 AMIn addition to eating less meat, I am also bringing coffee creamer and oatmeal to work, so I am making my own coffee ina reusable mug, and oatmeal for breakfast at work instead of buying it, or getting a disposable to go cup.-
