REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Plant an Herb GardenConsider the ways you can garden: a plot of land? a patio container? hanging basket? windowsill gardens? What would work best for your living situation and lifestyle?
Arielle Izurieta 10/24/2018 6:19 AMIt would be best for me to plant on my front lawn where there is the most space. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWater 5-Minute ShowersFive minute showers are an impressive step toward reducing your water footprint. What is the next step you can take?
Arielle Izurieta 10/17/2018 6:09 AMThe next step would be to install a low-flow shower head because by doing that you can save up to 15 gallons of water a day. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use Reusable BagsWhat do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reuseable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to establish this a successful habit?
Arielle Izurieta 10/16/2018 6:32 AMIt depends on how much stuff I have. If it is one or two things I won't use a disposable bag but if I have a lot of items I will have to use a disposable bag for that time. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Avoid refined sugarBefore you started this challenge, did you think you were 'addicted' to sugar? How do you feel now?
Arielle Izurieta 10/16/2018 6:23 AMI wouldn't say that I was 'addicted' but I didn't really think about how much sugar I was consuming each day. Now when picking out food I think about what I have had and what would be the best choice. -
Arielle Izurieta 10/10/2018 6:35 AMI am learning different ways of how to help the earth that I never thought of or heard of before.
