Joining the Challenge this fall has proven to be a wonderful change in my life; reading about others' efforts is most encouraging.  Really appreciate Project Drawdown for doing all the scientific work they are doing / it's a big part of my life.

Over the years I came to know many different times that I wanted to improve my life in one way or another, and  once I finally realized that the only way was to figure out how, and then practice it until it became part of my automatic thinking.  One of the biggest piece of change for me was learning to think positively ---  It has been the most fun to practice and finding writings from folks like Thoreau to musical theater songwriters has prove and still proves to be a lot of fun.  and then, of course there's doing dishes thinking positively...!

We chose triple pane windows a decade ago and have never been sorry. Living on a very busy street in a poorer section, our choice guaranteed our safety, and well as high quality insulation, and a huge reduction in street traffic noise.  NEVER BEEN SORRY!

We had  a sunny day so I had more energy to go outside and to spend more time on-line to learn how to participate in the DD Eco-Challenge.  And I'm really glad it not seeming so overwhelming anymore.  I've pledged to myself to spend at least a half hour daily in the ECO CH website, and I'm really glad I did.   it's becoming much clearer to me finally!
I actually added some points to my score today-- YEA! -  SOUTHCOAST TEAM.

Sleeping 60 minutes more each night sounds luxurious to me!
