Father Thomas Berry says, "...our primary purpose is celebration. Celebration of the dawn and the sunset and the different seasons of the year is a religious ritual, a way in which humans can establish their integral relationship with the universe, with the planet Earth." Respond to Berry's assertion.

There seems to be something primal about noticing the sun rise and set each day.  Some days it is spectacular and others it is mundane (like when it is stormy and you can't really see the sun). It does not take much time, but seems to make a connection to the earth.  This is a goal I hope to turn into a habit.

The daily check in is quick and easy and helps keep me on track.  Hopefully after this challenge my new actions will become habits.

I planned and shopped for my meals this week and it is making it so much easier.  I pack my pre-planned lunch in the morning and just choose one of the prepared meals for dinner each night to heat up.  No waste as it was all planned out.  I like this plan!

Just by thinking of three things I'm grateful for or thanking someone every day I've noticed an upswing in my happiness.  Just a little thing can make a difference!

Been trying to enjoy the sunrise and sunset as I travel to and from work which takes my mind off the traffic snafus a bit and reminds me to enjoy this time instead of wasting it being upset about traffic - which I cannot do anything about.  It is making my commute a little nicer each day.
