    Buy used stuff especially if it is not critical need, used computer, used bicycle/bike, used car, used furniture, used electronics etc.  This means less waste generated!

    Unconsciously, I was consuming sugar, would avoid refined sugar going forward, will switch to alternate like jaggery

    Apples, strawberry, Kiwi, jalapeno.  Hardest would be to give up on Mexican food.

    about 80% of the household waste is wet waste, which is now being converted to manure at home.

    The US spends roughly 20% of its federal budget on defense. In contrast, 2% goes to education, 20% goes to social security and 3% goes to transportation infrastructure. Do these numbers surprise you at all? Why or why not?
