I feel like this challenge motivates everyone in the LFA community to live a little bit more sustainably. I am now making an effort to use reusable water bottles and reusable bags when going out.

The next step that can be taken after trying to take 5 minute showers is to reduce the amount of water used when doing daily tasks, like using recycled water for other purposes.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles serve an important role in places for health and safety, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. Can you identify the barriers in making this a new habit? How can you set yourself up for success in making this a permanent change?

It is fairly easy to make the change to reduce waste from using plastic water bottles, but one way to reduce this is to get one water bottle that can be used for water, and then with this, you can use the tap to fill up your water bottle instead of buying a bunch of disposable water bottles.

Practicing gratitude can help keep you centered by keeping one clear-headed and optimistic in order to start the day and make the day better, resulting in an uplift of everything else in one's life.
