As with any other month, this month I have: composted all my kitchen scraps, drove my electric cars, generated electricity through my home PV system, gardened without using any chemicals, combined driving trips to limit impact, rode my bike to work 1x/week, refused to eat red meat to limit environmental impact, kept my home heating/cooling set at 68/78, used LED lights, dried my clothes using solar/wind drying power, limited my power use to off-peak hours, recycled as much as possible, collected rain water for yard use, reduced consumptive activities to limit waste and advocated for BEVs at every opportunity.

Attempting to cluster trips into one drive has been my habit for a long time. We always daisy-chain things together to minimize driving. It's just a way of life.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Advocate for Greener Vehicles
Reducing (or eliminating) exhaust emissions and improving public health are two benefits of green vehicles. What other motivators inspire you to consider switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle?

It's my personal passion to advocate for EV adoption, and I get to do it every day! I took a friend on a short test drive in my Tesla today, and continue to educate the broader Daimler community about EVs with my weekly newsletter.
