Say No to Plastic Straws

An estimated 71% of seabirds and 30% of turtles have been found with plastics in their stomachs. When they ingest plastic, marine life has a 50% mortality rate. By asking for no straw when placing a drink order, I will keep 2 plastic straw(s) of out of the ocean each day.

    The ecochallenge for me has been going well! I regret one of the challenges I chose which relates to my daily health choices with not being able to eat refined sugar. Otherwise I have noticed an increase in my time spent outside and choosing to exercise outside more often when the weather permits. I don't think this next half of the challenge will be too challenging but I will try to achieve all of my goals each day.
