Skip the Straw

Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 1 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.

    Started my beach body yoga, my first purchase through a commercial LOL. I have to say, it is a great beginner program for yoga. Nice addition to my treadmill.

    When things around you seem to be falling apart and out of sorts, taking the time to list a few things that you are grateful for can calm your mind and make you realize there are many wonderful things in your life despite the hardships.

    I love that my grandkids enjoy being outside with me and not spending all their time on electronic devices or TV.

    Once again I must do my outdoor walk by looking out the window as I walk on the treadmill. Only 4 days of rain, snow, cold and I am already wanting spring!

    So my walk outside had to be on a treadmill with a view of the outside as it is cold and rain mixed with snow. For us mature adults (age 66) not the safest for me to walk outside and I am a "wimpy, winter woman" :)

    I went to get a cold drink and forgot about the straw! I will not do that again....
