REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use Reusable BagsWhat do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reuseable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to establish this a successful habit?
Kelsey Leland 10/04/2018 4:20 PMIf I have a large number of small items, I will typically use a disposable bag. Otherwise for larger items I just carry them. I would like to keep a supply of reusable bags in my car, as I usually will remember that I left them at home once I am already at the store. It would be easy to run back to the car to get the reusable bags vs turning around and going all the way back home (Which is not likely to happen). -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth More Fruits and VeggiesWhat do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How can we start shifting from a meat-focused food culture to a more plant-based one?
Kelsey Leland 10/04/2018 4:18 PMI think mass production contributes, and we are very good at consuming. Potentially campaigning seasonality and the rich nutritional value of plant based would push a shift. Also offering up different ways of preparation. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Healthy SleepConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?
Kelsey Leland 10/04/2018 4:16 PMI would like to get to sleep earlier in order to wake up earlier. I find having less caffeine allows me to get to sleep faster at night.
