I feel like a five minute shower shouldn't be so bad and thats why I'm making it more difficult by taking coldish showers instead of using energy to heat up the shower water.  This should also help me wake up in the morning to go to class.

What do you plan to do with the money you save from making more energy efficient choices?

Since I live in the dorms and I don't think I'll actually get to see the money that gets saved.  I'd definitely save it to take a trip over spring break.

I've only washed one load of laundry so far and I used cold water.  In an effort to make this event more challenging I plan on taking as many clod showers as well.  Since I shower everyday this should be more difficult to manage and will prevent more CO2 from being released into the atmosphere.
