Whole Foods Diet
I will enjoy 1 meal(s) each day free of processed foods.
Waste
Carry my Trash
I will carry all of my unrecyclable, non-compostable trash with me to raise my awareness of how much I send to the landfill.
Waste
Recycle Everything I Can
Contamination prevents what is recyclable from being recycled. I will spend 20 minutes researching and recycling all materials that are accepted by local haulers or drop stations in my community.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Recycle Everything I CanWhat have you learned about what is accepted by local haulers for recycling, what you can drop off or ship to certain places, and what is not recyclable in your area? What is the most difficult part of recycling for you?
Alec Loftus 10/10/2018 9:17 AMI have learned that number 6 items cannot be recycled at my university, but I’m looking for other areas it may be accepted. If it isn’t recycleable anywhere then I’ll stop using that plastic. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Carry my TrashWhat one thing could you do right away to reduce your waste?
Alec Loftus 10/10/2018 9:14 AMI could switch from buying pens to buying ink cartridges to fill my existing pens, so I do not need to keep buying nee pens and throwing the old plastic out.
