  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Take Control
How do environmental health, community health, and your personal health intersect?

They are very related, if environmental health is poor it will affect us physically, if community health is poor, it will affect our mental health. We need to balance the 3 in order to be successful in our wellness goals.

it could be close tap while I brush my teeth , fixing household leaks, use only full loads in the washing machine, take the car to the car wash as they uses much less water, etc

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Enjoy the Sunrise/Sunset
Father Thomas Berry says, "...our primary purpose is celebration. Celebration of the dawn and the sunset and the different seasons of the year is a religious ritual, a way in which humans can establish their integral relationship with the universe, with the planet Earth." Respond to Berry's assertion.

Love this quote, we are one with the Universe, with the planet and with mother nature. We should enjoy and celebrates this planet that we call home, the energy that comes with a new day and the calm after a lived day.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Weekly Meal Planning
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

No it doesn't surprise me at all as in the past I also threw out lot of food and know people that do it. I'm more conscious of what I buy now and money saved goes to savings account for my next vacations !
