REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Track my PurchasesWhat have you noticed about your purchases? Where are you inclined to make shifts, if any?
Penelope Luedtke 10/17/2018 7:44 AMI've been able to keep my focus on not spending, but I fell off the wagon a little on Sunday. We were in Corvallis and I had to go check out their cute little downtown area. At least I was supporting small business! -
Penelope Luedtke 10/11/2018 10:41 AMI'm happy the weather is cooperating so far with it's so us, its nice to be able to exercise outside. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Needs Vs. WantsHow is creativity necessary for practicing simplicity?
Penelope Luedtke 10/08/2018 11:03 AMIt is catalog time - I came home from my trip to find three new ones in the mail. I've already told myself, "No new clothing, thrifting from now on only." I want to help break the cycle of the clothing industry's huge impact on the planet.-
Melissa Walton Hendricks 10/09/2018 2:43 PMYou've inspired me to go thrifting!

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Whole Foods DietMichael Pollan states that "it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor." What are your thoughts on this?
Penelope Luedtke 10/08/2018 10:57 AMI have been exploring the DASH diet for high blood pressure - this "eating plan" requires such specific numbers of servings that I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. -
Penelope Luedtke 10/02/2018 9:31 AMI'm getting ready for the EcoChallenge - you know why? I was at a meeting off site with other EcoChallenge member organizations and I heard PCC say they were going to win this year....SO CHALLENGE ACCEPTED PCC AND ALL YOU SCHOOLS THAT THINK YOU CAN OUT ECO US! :D If we came up out of no where to win this thing, you know how gobsmacked they would be? LOL!!!
