Tim Lynch 10/16/2018 9:51 AMMy eyes have been opened to soy milk in coffee! And believe me, I was super skeptical. This weekend I checked out Jet Black Coffee in Gateway, a vegan coffee house adjacent to Food Fight vegan grocery. Obv they didn't have my usual cow milk cream, so I took a 'chance' on their soy milk. Previous experiences made my coffee 'chalky' and weirdly nutty/sweet. Not so! Apparently I am behind the times, and soy milk has come a long way. The coffee was delicious, lower calorie, and didn't start to taste off like 'normal' cream does as the morning went on. Call me converted!
