Being creative helps in optimizing the usage of materials and reduce the wastage. With what is left in the refrigerator, we can creatively cook up delicious meals and maintain simplicity. Practicing this way, we can avoid running to the store for every small thing and in turn save on gas, finances and energy!

Do not keep the refrigerator/freezer door open for long.
Unplug the kitchen appliances when not in use.
Make sure to use the conventional oven only for how long its need and turn it off when done.

I could achieve that in the future by buying only what is really needed and not what attracts my eyes all the time.
