    How can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place?

    Did a 4+ hour hike with a group of women my age.  Spent time just sitting quietly listening to the sounds of nature.  Had a leaf fall from the tree next to me and I could actually hear the sound of it hitting the ground.  Loved watching the ripple effect of the breeze on the pond spreading in different directions.  Excited to find so many different (non-edible) mushrooms in the forest. One was actually purple.  Was able to clear my mind of all the drama caused by others living around me.
