REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Avoid refined sugarBefore you started this challenge, did you think you were 'addicted' to sugar? How do you feel now?
Mitchell McGreal 10/12/2018 5:33 PMI found myself occasionally "stress eating" foods with refined sugar while studying or completing lengthy assignments, but when I became aware of this I knew I needed to work on stopping before it turned into a habit. Today went very well, but this weekend will be more of a challenge seeing that multiple exams next week. I will certainly remember this reflection question and use it to steer myself from sugary foods in the future. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWater 5-Minute ShowersFive minute showers are an impressive step toward reducing your water footprint. What is the next step you can take?
Mitchell McGreal 10/10/2018 9:18 PMNext I want to focus more on the foods that I eat and how water consumption is associated with these foods. I will continue to eat meat, but less frequently on less days of the week because it requires a great deal of water to process.-
Jill Buckingham 10/11/2018 11:40 AM5 minute showers no problem. I never run the water when tooth-brushing or engaging in other activities.

REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Less Screen TimeWhat did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?
Mitchell McGreal 10/10/2018 9:16 PMRather than spending time watching some videos or a show, I spent about an hour at the Halas rock wall and found that talking to people there and exercising cleared my mind at the end of the day rather than staring at a screen. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable Water BottleWhile water bottles serve an important role in places for health and safety, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. Can you identify the barriers in making this a new habit? How can you set yourself up for success in making this a permanent change?
Mitchell McGreal 10/08/2018 10:59 AMPublicly we should have access to places where water bottles can be refilled rather than just recycled and purchasing another bottle. The energy it takes to make these water bottles can be conserved if everyone used a reusable water bottle that they could refill when necessary. On the plus side, most reusable bottles are larger than the average store bought ones.
