I will visit my nearest farm to find out who produces my food, and will learn about the quality of life of those who produce my food in other regions of the world to make better choices when I shop.

I will eat all of my meals without distractions, e.g., phone, computer, TV, or newspaper.

I will not accept any disposable bags when making purchases.

I will advocate for alternatives to single-use packaging at local grocery stores, markets, at work, or on campus.

I will meditate or create a moment of silence for 20 minute(s) each day to reflect on things important to me.

I will create a rain garden or bioswale, or use rain barrels to collect water for outdoor watering needs.

I will enjoy the sunrise and/or sunset each day.

I will use the 'Learn More' resources below to find where I can forage for my own food locally.

If buying a plane ticket, I will also buy a carbon offset.

I will source 1 meal(s) each day from local producers.

I will spend 30 minutes researching toxic chemicals found in cleaning supplies and personal care products and remove them from my home.

I will reduce the amount of water flushed and save up to 11 gallons (41 L) of water each day by installing a toilet tank bank.
