Just finished writing to my elected representatives advocating that they take climate change seriously. We can participate in all the individual actions we want; however, massive, systemic change is needed if we are to stave of the worst of climate change. The decisions our elected representatives make in the next few years will have enormous ramifications on the next 100 plus years!

One of my challenges has been to write down three things I'm grateful for each day. For an action that takes about two minutes, I find it remarkable how much it has impacted me. I catch myself during the day thinking about who/what I can be grateful for -- I'm on the lookout for it instead of potentially focusing on things that annoy me. How refreshing!
