Joy Nicolini 10/22/2018 12:52 PMVery good, I like the reminder emails. I need to do more food planning and volunteer time. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable Water BottleWhile water bottles serve an important role in places for health and safety, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. Can you identify the barriers in making this a new habit? How can you set yourself up for success in making this a permanent change?

REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunity Volunteer in my CommunityWhat is one thing you can do to help your community become more sustainable?

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Weekly Meal PlanningAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?
Joy Nicolini 10/15/2018 5:32 AMI try to make sure the meals I plan are scaled down to just us 3. Or possible a left over for the next days lunch. If I buy bulk I buy things that can be frozen or have a shelf life. I would rather use that money that would be wasted on savings or helping others. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Go for a Daily WalkHow do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?
Joy Nicolini 10/15/2018 5:29 AMYou get to hear the sights, smells and sounds of the area, rather than the radio and air-conditioning of the car. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Eat MindfullyMindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How do your eating experiences differ when practicing mindfulness?
Joy Nicolini 10/09/2018 4:45 AMYou can really taste the food and know when you are feeling full. Listening to the Qs of your body. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergy Heat and Cool NaturallyWhat are other ways you could use the power of the sun to reduce your own environmental footprint?
