There are many different ways to reduce the environmental footprints, such as stop using the plastic bottles, going paperless, and using less grocery bags.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Meditate
What would you like to invest more time in reflecting on?

When I am meditating I am more likely to think about school, instead of thinking about school I just want more time to think and reflect on other stuff, such as what made me happy today, what could I do better next time to be happier...
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Water Say No to Plastic Straws
What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

Because I like to drink coffee, I am most likely to use coffee cups. Instead of using disposable cups, I can use reusable coffee cups. Also I am trying to use less, but sometimes when I go to the grocery stores, I am more likely to use plastic bags. I can substitute plastic bags with reusable bags.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Go Paperless
Reducing your paper mail can be such a freeing action to take -- by reducing what is coming in, you can reduce what is going into the recycling bin too. How does it make you feel? What is the next step you will take to reduce your waste?

With reducing the paper mail, we can save more trees every day, and if more people start to do it, it will help to save environment. Such as it will make less recycling wastes, it will cause less paper usage... I already took some actions to reduce my mail by just going into e-mailing process instead of paper process.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health More Fruits and Veggies
What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How can we start shifting from a meat-focused food culture to a more plant-based one?

People in the United States more likely to eat more meat than any other places in the world. Especially red meat. I think it is mostly about how people ın United States likes fast foos, or they always think if there is no meat in the meal, it is not a full meal. We can start to eat more vegan foods, to prevent to eat more meet, or we can try to decrease the meet usages in the weekly meals. Such as; instead of eating 4 days of meat, we can decrease that number to 3 or maybe even 2.

Food Try a New Way to Prep
Canning and pickling food is a great way to have delicious summer fruits and vegetables all year round. Just make sure to follow the canning and pickling guidelines from the USDA. What are some foods that you would like to preserve and enjoy later in the year?

I would like to can tomatoes, peaches and pears. I also would like to can a tomato juice, because homemade taste better than store bought.
