I spend time 3 months  each year living in a  small  space (sailboat) and find I have to use what I have be it clothes, food, tools or what have you creatively.  Recipes change based on what is on hand, clothes get worn many times over in unusual combinations, tools get made out of "non tools " What a luxury to be able to live off of your own grid and make do. I try to bring that home at the end of the on-board season.
