The recycling bins in my apartment complex often contain large quantities of non-recyclable materials. The high level of contamination makes me worry that everything I put in there just ends up in the landfill. I want to look into what it would take for me to bring my own recyclables to a recycling center where (hopefully) the contamination levels are lower and the materials are more likely to be recycled.
