  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Reduce Animal Products
What do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than in other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How do we start shifting a meat-focused food culture?

I know that I grew up in a farm family and we raised a lot of meat so that is what we ate.  My brother the farmer married a girl from a metro area and we were surprised how little meat she ate.  She said it was too expensive to buy so she didn't eat it.  I know now that I'm feeding my family from the store instead of the farm we eat a lot less meat.
