    changing eating habits for yourself is hard enough, now throw in 3 small children and you have chaos.

    Michael Pollan states that "it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor." What are your thoughts on this?

    I agree, when you eat better or healthier/ fresher foods your body just feels better and works better. our bodies were not designed to eat mcdonalds everyday.

    living in an apartment there isn't much space for a large garden but we make do with planters on our deck.

    when you practice gratitude it retrains your mind to seek out the positives rather than the negatives in day to day situations, it also helps keep your mind clear and allows you to overcome obstacles you may have let defeat you in the past.

    It's amazing how changing my eating habits and being sure to write down three things I am grateful for daily has changed my mood and outlook on things I feel a lot better now than I have in awhile.
