Peter's actions
Waste
Choose Two-Sided Printing
I will save up to .21 lbs (.09 kg) of paper each day by switching from one-sided printing to two-sided.
Community
Meet My Neighbors
I will meet 1 new neighbor(s) each day.
Nature
Do Nature Activities
I will engage in nature-based activities alone, or with my friends or family, for 30 minute(s) each day. (This can be anything from going on a walk or hike, to noticing the leaves changing color, to reading a book with nature themes.)
Nature
Go for a Daily Walk
I will take a 45-minute walk outside each day.
Water
Say No to Plastic Straws
An estimated 71% of seabirds and 30% of turtles have been found with plastics in their stomachs. When they ingest plastic, marine life has a 50% mortality rate. By asking for no straw when placing a drink order, I will keep 2 plastic straw(s) of out of the ocean each day.

REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Go for a Daily WalkHow do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?
Peter Revilla 10/03/2018 5:38 AMEveryday my son and I take a walk around the neighborhood. It is great to introduce him to neighbors and show him that people are generally friendly and have him meet other small children. The more we walk the more we get to wave and say Hi to friendly faces!-
Nicole Kozlowski 10/05/2018 5:17 AMAww! I'm sure Jr LOVES hanging out with his daddy! Fall is such a fun time to walk around the neighborhood too. So many birds, falling leaves, and beautiful colors. What nice memories to make with him <3
