  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Use Reusable Bags
What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reuseable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to establish this a successful habit?

Make sure that you carry several reusable bags in your vehicles and use them when shopping

I make grocery bags with a pocket on the inside and keep them by the garage. I put my grocery list and car keys there as I'm getting ready to go to the store. Then I never forget my bags!

Two tricks I use when I blew it and don't have them:

      - Often stores have produce boxes you can pack your groceries in.
      - I always just put my items back in the cart without bags at Costco. So buying in bulk reduces my bag use too.
