REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Weekly Meal PlanningAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?
jesenia rodriguez 10/24/2018 11:21 AMAll this money can be used for any charities , Any bills, etc. Instead of wasting large amount if money on food that will be thrown out, it's better to save money and just buy the amount of food that will be used to prepare meals. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Try a New Way to PrepCanning and pickling food is a great way to have delicious summer fruits and vegetables all year round. Just make sure to follow the canning and pickling guidelines from the USDA. What are some foods that you would like to preserve and enjoy later in the year?
jesenia rodriguez 10/24/2018 11:18 AMSome foods that I would like to preserve would be veggies, beans,Fruits and anything that is left over and can be pickled to be eaten later instead of wasting large amounts of foods. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth More Fruits and VeggiesWhat do you think contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other places, and what does this say about North American values and ways of living? How can we start shifting from a meat-focused food culture to a more plant-based one?
jesenia rodriguez 10/05/2018 11:30 AMNorth america may eat more meat than any other places because most restaurants or supermarkets do not include vegan meals. There is a majority of restaurants with meat and not many vegan grocery stores or restaurants. Maybe making more vegan restaurants around neighborhoods may make people wanna eat in vegan places and possible change their eating habits into a healthier one. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Go get a check upHow do you practice self care?
jesenia rodriguez 10/05/2018 11:25 AMI practice self care by trying to drink as much water as possible. I try to eat either vegetables or fruits everyday at least once a day. If i am not eating fruits i am drinking it in a milkshake. Gaining enough protein in your body is very important.-
