Simplicity
Track my Purchases
I will spend 15 minutes each day maintaining a record of all my purchases and learning about my spending habits.
Food
Weekly Meal Planning
I will reduce food waste and save money by planning a weekly menu, only buying the ingredients I need.
Health
Exercise Daily
Exercise is a great stress blaster! I will exercise for 30 minute(s) each day.
Health
Avoid refined sugar
I will adopt a diet free of refined sugars, which eliminates sweetened beverages, candy, and processed foods.
Water
Conserve Toilet Water
I will save up to 12 gallons (45 L) of water a day by flushing only when necessary.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

Jonathan Rozenbergs 10/02/2018 2:21 PMThe last time I did the EcoChallenge, I had the benefit of carpooling, shared lunches, and other advantages that came from having a spouse in the same workspace. Having that allowed us to produce less waste because we could bundle up what we doing to lessen our impact. These were lifestyle choices we made because we were conscious about our impact. This go-around, I will be challenged to make choices that are impactful on an individual level.
