    On Monday night I continued by study of Ecclesiastes and reflected on how "the best a man can do is to be happy in his work".
    On Tuesday night I continued my study of Ecclesiastes and reflected on how meaningless the accumulation of wealth is.

    I volunteered last night with the Octoberfest Grenideers for 3 hours Monday night in taking down the northside fest grounds at the conclusion of the event.
    Last night My wife and I volunteered to support the City of La Crosse at an event for the visiting dignitaries from Germany.

    The blessings and bounty of our country also create the opportunity to overindulge in eating and in eating the wrong things.  "It all starts with food" is a great resource and has allowed me to change my eating habits greatly.

    We can carry on the  mission and values of our founding Franciscan Sisters by implementing stewardship principles that are sustainable and supportive of those in our community that are challenged.

    I have had great mentors lead my in journey to be more Eco Friendly in my life.  My wife gets most of the credit along with a few organic farmers I have worked with over the years.
