Dylana Schreiner 10/14/2018 4:18 PMNow that I have been doing my challenge of taking 5 minute showers for the last couple weeks, I think I have been doing very well. At first it was hard taking a shower in under 5 minutes, but with some dedication I have successfully been able to do it now. I see how doing this can save so much water and energy, because the longer you're in the shower, the more unnecessary water you are wasting. Reducing the time you spend in the shower is a simple but effective way of being more sustainable with your resources. -
Dylana Schreiner 10/04/2018 10:35 AMAlthough today is technically only the second day in the challenge, I started my challenge the day I signed up which was about 7 days ago. For my challenge I chose to try to take showers in 5 minutes or less. I picked this one, because I knew it would be a challenge for me. I like to take long showers for about 8 to 10 minutes, so I knew this would be a change to my daily shower routine. Since I started the challenge it has been hard to stay under the 5 minute period. I couple times I went over the 5 minute span, because I still had conditioner in my hair that I had to rinse out. This made my shower about 6 minutes. I am slowly making progress. I hope to improve my time to be under 5 minutes for the rest of the challenge. Wish me luck!
