My challenge was to only use reusable bags when shopping, rather than the plastic ones that stores provide. This was actually quite a challenge for me because I go shopping quite often. I spend a lot of time at TJ Maxx and that part was easy because they actually have a lot of reusable bags to choose from and buy at the checkout and I already owned a few. The first time I went, I forgot my reusable bag but I bought one while I was there because I wanted to stay true to my challenge and you can never have too many. When I go shopping for groceries, I do the same thing with my reusable bags however there was one time that I went to Walmart with a few friends and I forgot my bags. The easy solution would have been to just use the plastic bags because I did buy quite a few items and it would be hard to carry that all back to my car and then into my dorm. Luckily I had some friends with me because that's exactly what I did; I forced my friends to help me carry each individual item back to my car for me. It was a struggle, but I am going to stay devoted to this challenge and in the future.
