As soon as we buy new thing (eg. clothes/kitchen items) the old one to be discarded immediately.

And also go for only those things that are 'Need' and not on 'Want'
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
In North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for utilizing every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable, including the skins, tops, and stalks during your next meal prep?

soak the vegetable or greens in salt water for 10/15min before the cooking, wash well and use for cooking.  In this way, the entire vegetable is used and also cleansed with unwanted pesticides/mud etc.
