Ryan Sotomayor 10/16/2018 7:39 AMEven with reusable bags in the car, or in my bag, I keep forgetting to say I don't need a bag when making purchases. What's up brain? I feel like I need to use the rubber band trick where you wear a rubber band on your wrist and every time you forget to not do something you're supposed to do you give yourself a nice little snap of that band. It helped me quick picking my nose when I was 19. Now, I only pick my nose 19 times a day. ;) -
Ryan Sotomayor 10/14/2018 9:41 AMIf you have access to a blender...which is a privilege not everyone has at work, I know...a quick easy vegan meal in a jar is: organic protein powder, greens probiotic powder, vegan fiber powder, and 1/3 cup juice, 1/3 coconut milk, 1/3 cup filtered water. I also like to blend in some veggies - especially greens: spinach, kale, and if you're feeling sinister - arugula and mustard greens. That's a spicy green smoothie! Not for the faint of heart. Blend on the finest blend for 1- 2 minutes. Add ice in the blend, or pour over ice and consume immediately. -
Ryan Sotomayor 10/14/2018 9:04 AMIf anyone is looking for a quick easy vegan meal: Soy Sauce Ramen packet + 1 cup frozen veggies + 1 TB sesame oil + 1 TB peanut butter + 1 TB chili sauce. If you're watching sodium skip the ramen spice packet, or just put in 1/2. Spicy, warm, and cheap! If you're vegetarian add 1 - 3 eggs for protein. Come to SWCC sometime and I'll cook you a batch! -

Anyone remember this old SNL Jack Handey Deep Thought: To me, it's always a good idea to carry two sacks of something when you walk around. That way, if anybody says, "Hey, can you give me a hand?," you can say, "Sorry, got these sacks." jokes!
