Using cold water instead of hot when I wash my hands and doing other stuff. Turning the water off more when I wash dishes instead of just keeping the water running.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Use Reusable Bags
What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reuseable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to establish this a successful habit?

If I don't have a reusable bag with me I will just carry things in my cart or just by hand if I don't have that much stuff. I should make a habit of always having reusable bags in my car or when I go shopping.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Limit Social Media
Social media is a great way to keep us connected with loved ones, makes us laugh, and helps us to learn new things. It can also take more time than we realize or intend to give. After doing this action for a few days now, how do you feel? What do you notice?

I feel more present when I limit my social media use. I also feel like I am more productive and can stay focused better!

Today I am grateful for it being the weekend, for Mama Mia 2 playing tonight at the theatre, and for ice cream because I love ice cream.

I went on a bluff hike this morning. The trail was really close to campus and was about 2 miles long, but I don't remember what it was called!

I went on a bluff hike this morning for about two hours. It was tiring but a lot of fun and the view was great.

I volunteered at the Kane Street Garden on Saturday October 6 for an hour 1! I helped moved pumpkins and squash and pull out the rest of the turnips in the garden.
